Liberty Paschke has detailed her horrifying encounter with a magpie which left her feeling 'scared'.

The Block star, 34, took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to reveal that she had been 'swooped' by a magpie during her morning walk.

Liberty, who rose to fame on The Block with her sister Eliza last year, admitted she was terrified it was going to come back as she uneasily walked through a park.

She shared: 'I got swooped by a magpie on the back of my head like full skimmed my head. Now I'm so scared it's going to come back because isn't that what tends to happen?

'Like they come back and go for a second swoop. It was also so embarrassing because there were so many people around looking and giggling, laughing.'

'Let's pray I make it home with my eyes still intact,' she added in a caption.

After the incident, Liberty shared another snap of herself relaxing with an LED mask on as she told how she was 'destressing' after the trauma.

Elsewhere this week, her sister Eliza gave an insight into the modern dating world as she slammed the disturbing trend of ghosting people.

Ghosting involves abruptly ending communication with someone without prior notice, often leaving the other party confused and hurt.

The reality TV star shared her thoughts on the topic with 9Honey, expressing her frustration over the increasing number of ghosting incidents she's learned about.

'I have heard so many horror stories about ghosting lately - and I'm taking a stand,' she shared.

'I truly believe ghosting is one of the biggest, grossest and most cowardly dating habits of our time.'

She has never ghosted anyone but admitted she has been on the receiving end of it, leading her to sometimes respond with a touch of sarcasm to the silent treatment.

'When someone ditches me and tries to slink away unnoticed, I've been known to send a few final sarcastic words,' she said, recounting her futile attempts to elicit a reaction from the cruel ghosters.

She also pointed out the role of social media and online dating for the 'surge' in the unhealthy 'disappearing act' behaviour.
